The Japanese company Nippon Soda has succeeded for many years of research in providing a new compound Nissorun 10% WP with a high efficiency and is specialized to resist acrocytic pests, which was registered at the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture under the name Maccomite 10% WP, which is a specialized compound with high efficiency to resist many types of spiders that infect fruit trees, field crops, vegetable crops and ornamental plants, as this compound belongs to a completely new group of pesticides that has no equivalent in the Egyptian markets so far.

Effective Material:

Maccomite 10% WP pesticide contains the active substance Hexythiazox in the form of a powder before wetting, which is a modern substance that has not shown the character of resistance from any of the acrobic species, and it is characterized by a strong impact on the treated individuals and the generations following them.

How It Works:

Maccomite 10% WP is an acaricide with a delayed kill action by contact and an infectious toxin to combat all types of acrocytes in their different stages (egg - larva - first nymph - second nymph) followed by the natural death of the whole animal. It also shows an indirect effect on the fully treated stages, as it affects the reproductive organs of the pest, so the females lay eggs that do not hatch and therefore do not produce new individuals and lose the ability to complete the life cycle and reproduction. Maccomite 10% WP is also used to control winter eggs before hatching and also the immature motile instars of spiders during the growing season.

How To Use:

It is preferable to control the different phases of the species of mites in the early stages of infection and not wait until the infection does not increase, because spraying at this time gives excellent results in eliminating mites and loses the ability to complete their life cycle.

Features:

• Maccomite is a highly concentrated pesticide that has an effective and teratogenic effect on all mites, even those that have shown resistance to other conventional pesticides.
• Adult females exposed to Maccomite pesticide lay eggs that are not suitable for hatching due to its extended effect on the vital processes necessary to complete the stages of egg formation.
• Maccomite pesticide has a long-term effect, allowing the spraying periods to be spaced apart.
• Maccomite pesticide has a great permeability into the tissues of the upper surface of the plant.
• Maccomite pesticide is safe for humans, animals, vital organs, beneficial insects and the environment.
• Maccomite pesticide can be mixed with insecticides and fungicides, including alkaline pesticides. It is advised to do an experiment before mixing.
• Maccomite pesticide has a superior ability to penetrate the tissues of treated plants, which leads to the extension of the effect period and the guarantee of the control process for long periods, thus spacing the spraying periods and reducing costs.
• Maccomite pesticide, since it is in powder form before getting wet, it retains its shelf life for a longer period than liquid compounds under optimum storage conditions.
• Maccomite pesticide is safe for plants treated at different stages of growth and does not cause any toxicity or burns.
• Maccomite pesticide is used within the integrated control programs (IPM) on export crops and compatible with the (GAP), and registered in the European Union countries such as France, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Sweden, and other countries.

Pre-harvest Period:

The spider repellent pesticide Maccomite is characterized by a high coefficient of safety, as the pre-harvest period in strawberries, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, eggplant and zucchini is three days, and in apples it is seven days.
